The results of this year’s Higher Secondary examinations will be declared on Friday, May 30.
“The results of Higher Secondary 2014 will be declared at a press conference at 9.30am on May 30. But the students will get their results on Internet and through SMS from 10am that day,” said Mahua Das, the president of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

To know the results through SMS, a candidate will have to type WB12<space>roll number and send the message to 54242. Airtel and Vodafone users can also call or send an SMS to 5207051 and 58888511 respectively.
Students can also get their results from their respective schools in the afternoon on May 30. The heads of all HS schools have been asked to collect the mark sheets of their students from the council’s camp offices from 10.30am on May 30.
Council officials said this year Higher Secondary (HS) results are being declared three days earlier than last year. HS 2013 results had been declared on June 3
The HS exams began on March 12 this year and continued till March 28. Nearly 800,000 students wrote the exams and over 30,000 teachers were engaged in evaluation and scrutiny of answer scripts.
