Multiple sites to avoid fiasco

- ICSE results

ICSE examinees can know their results, to be announced on Wednesday, from several websites instead of one.

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations has decided to upload the ICSE results on multiple websites, including some private portals, to avoid the ISC fiasco that prevented Class XII students from accessing their results for several hours on Saturday following a server crash.

The websites where the ICSE results will be available from 3pm are:

  • http://www.cisce.indiaeducation.net lhttp://www.cisce.in.com
  • http://www.cisce.timesofindia.com

The council had earlier announced that the results would only be available on www.cisce.org.

To know the results through SMS, students will have to type ICSE<space> seven-digit ID number and send the message to 09248082883/ 51818/ 56263/ 58888 or 5676750.

“We are confident that there won’t be any technical glitches and ICSE students won’t face any problem knowing their results online,” council secretary and chief executive Gerry Arathoon told Metro on Tuesday evening.

The schools can access the results online by logging into the council’s CAREERS portal. In addition, the council will send the results to the schools through email.
