Satan worship alert in Tura

Tura, May 13: The deputy commissioner of East Garo Hills, Vijay Mantri, has appealed to all principals and teachers to keep a watch over the children in their schools and ensure that they are handed over to parents after school, in view of the growing menace of Satan worship.

He appealed to “all the parents of schoolchildren to accompany their children to school and not leave them alone at home unattended,” Mantri said. He has also asked all community leaders and village elders to keep a watch on graveyards in their locality. He also appealed to all Church leaders “to create awareness about the issue in religious gatherings,” he said.
