Calcutta: With five wins from six games, the Chennai Super Kings are perched at the top of the IPL points table. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side have carefully worked their way to the top and are cautious to not let complacency set in.
CSK coach Stephen Fleming is happy that selectorial decisions have paid off hoping that the yellow brigade might continue with their winning momentum.
“It is a lot of hard work that goes into it. We have been very lucky with our team selections and the players have repaid the faith already,” said Fleming on iplt20.com.
Speaking about the team’s performance, Fleming credited Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith for their contributions.
“McCullum has leadership qualities and he has an energy about him which is infectious. Then there is also the running between the wickets in combination with Dwayne Smith. And along with Faf du Plessis and the Indian fielders, there is real electricity on the field.”
