Dhaka: M.A. Satheesh, Team India’s logistics manager till the Supreme Court’s interim order on a case filed by the Cricket Association of Bihar, left for home on Tuesday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had to call Satheesh back as the interim order made it clear that nobody employed by India Cements would have anything to do with the body running cricket in the country.
Narayanswamy Srinivasan, effectively suspended by the Supreme Court as the BCCI president, is the face of India Cements.
“Satheesh left this morning, five days after the Supreme Court’s interim order,” a source told The Telegraph on Tuesday evening.
In keeping with the way it functions, the BCCI didn’t announce Satheesh’s departure.
