Police chief Surajit Kar Purkayastha went from one intersection to another on Monday morning and distributed packets of ORS, crates of bottled water and fresh coconut water to the cops on duty. “You should keep drinking water and ORS at regular intervals to avoid dehydration in this heat,” he advised.
