Calcutta: Gangesh Khaitan emerged overall winner in the all-India Seniors and Mid-Amateur Golf Championship, which concluded at the Royal Calcutta Golf Club, on Friday.
Representing Uttar Pradesh, Gangesh, also winner of the 55 years and above category, finished with a total of 233, followed by statemate Vijay Kumar with 234. Playing for Delhi, Kapil Dev, too, had a decent time out there in the middle, finishing third with a total of 235.
In the 65 years and above category, K.K. Bajoria emerged winner with a total of 238. Lakshman Singh finished on top with a total of 250 in the 60 years and above category, followed by Sanjay Sanwal (258) and Sanjay Kolhatkar (259).
