Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formed a three-member fact finding committee to probe allegations made by former Test cricketer Basit Ali that a fixed match was played in the just-concluded national T20 championship in Rawalpindi.
An official of the Board said that the three-member committee would include security manager Colonel Waseem, Shafiq Ahmed, who is GM domestic cricket, and independent member Ali Naqvi.
Basit had alleged that the match between Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins was fixed. Karachi went on to win the low scoring match. Afterwards, Sialkot captain Shoaib Malik and his players made a public display of their anger. (PTI)
