13-year-old to play for Meghalaya

Shillong, Feb. 13: A 13-year-old boy will represent Meghalaya in the Indian National Billiards and Snooker Championship commencing tomorrow in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The championship will start with the sub-junior snooker and billiards competition. In this category, Siddhaanth C. Laitphlang, 13, is representing Meghalaya for the first time.

The senior fixture starts from February 24 where two players — Sharad Pradhan and Taufique Ali — will be representing Meghalaya.

Cricket: Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) today humbled Gauhati Town Club Cricket Academy by 90 runs in a league match of the second Guwahati Sports Association under-14 inter-coaching centre cricket tournament at Janata Bhawan ground here.
