Good wishes for seniors

St Dominic Savio’s High School

Event: Farewell to Class XII students

Duration: Two hours

Special attraction: The function started with a welcome dance by Class XI student Aditi followed by a number of cultural programmes. Snehashish sang Hum tere bin, which received huge applause. Headgirl Georgina, a student of the outgoing batch, said she had spent 15 years in the school and whatever she was today was because of the institute. Nihir Fleming, the head boy, said he was feeling nostalgic. There was also a dance performance by Georgina and group. A few games were organised and a fashion show was held.

Ishan International School

Event: Farewell to Class XII students

Duration: Two hours

Special attraction: Students of Class XI performed dance and mimicry and dedicated songs to show their affection towards seniors. Arbind Kumar, the director of the school, inaugurated the programme. He told the students that the sky was the limit for them. Principal Manjula Sharma and vice-principal Amarawati Singh were also present. Another attraction of the event was a ramp walk in which Priyam was adjudged Miss Ishan, while Kumar Utkarsh was adjudged Mr Ishan. At the end of the programme, headboy Shubham and head girl

Anjali proposed a vote of thanks.

St Michael’s Higher Secondary School

Event: Annual alumni meet

Duration: Four-five hours

Special attraction: Hundreds of former students came down from across the globe. The meet commenced with a cricket match followed by a brunch. The main event was a get-together, where former students chatted, clicked photographs and danced. Sanjay Shrivastava of the 1981 batch and the director of NIFT-Patna, said: “The meet gives us an opportunity to revive and relive the glorious years.”
