Students of BIT-Muscat (Oman) perform during the opening ceremony of Bitotsav ’14, a five-day annual fest, held in association with The Telegraph, at BIT-Mesra in Ranchi on Wednesday. State HRD minister Geetashree Oraon inaugurated the fest. The campus wore a festive look since morning as both BITians as well students who came from colleges across the country and abroad came in their trendy best. Day One saw two awareness campaigns — Carnival and Flash Mob — that taught students how to score points in various events. Later in the evening, stand-up comedian Surendra Sharma made the audience go ROFL (rolling on the floor, laughing!) with his wisecracks. Picture by Prashant Mitra
