Bud defeat Ankurjyoti

Guwahati, Feb. 10: Bud Cricket Coaching Centre registered a convincing 38-run victory over Ankurjyoti Cricket Coaching Centre in their match of the second Inter Cricket Coaching Centre Under-14 Cricket Tournament organised by the Guwahati Sports Association at the Janata Bhawan Parade Ground here today.

Put in to bat, Bud Cricket Coaching Centre failed to put up a competitive total as the side could only manage 104 runs before being bundled out in 19 overs. Manikarna scored 35 runs off 39 deliveries while Manish Kr Bharati was the only other batsman to reach the double figure mark with a run-a-ball 11 runs. Lobo Paswan scalped three wickets conceding 27 runs in his four overs while Amit Sahani picked up two wickets giving away 25 runs in his five overs.

In reply, Ankurjyoti batsmen were bundled out for a paltry total of 66 runs in 24 overs. Sujoy Sutradhar scored 21 runs off 34 balls while Bhivan Ahmed contributed 12 runs off 42 deliveries. Himjyoti Sarma picked up three wickets conceding 16 runs in his six overs while Ayushman Pal scalped three wickets giving away 18 runs in six overs.
