Interactive website launched

Golaghat, Jan. 31: An interactive website on citizen journalism was launched here todays.

The website, http://raijorsongbad.9ox.in/, is the brainchild of two IT professionals, Azizur Rahman and Anjuma Begum, who have worked on the project for the past five months.

The website is built entirely on Assamese fonts and is divided into various tabs like regional, international, entertainment, life style, sport and article.

“The idea behind the site is to make it a platform for sharing of thoughts, ideas, opinions and news by the masses. We like people to contribute events or happenings taking place in their neighbourhood or being witnessed by them anywhere,” Rahman told The Telegraph.

News can be uploaded through mobile phones and the developers are now working on making an Android app of the news portal.
