RIMS fest, round 2

RIMS students, who got off to a racy start with indoor games and contests like chess, carom, face & T-shirt painting and rangoli at their 19-day annual sports and cultural fest that started from January 7 on campus, can now pump up their adrenaline.

For, the second phase of Synergy 2014, which will concentrate on outdoor activities, kicked off on Friday with a volleyball match.

Handball, badminton and kabaddi and contests like dance, skit, antakshari and ramp shows are lined up.

“From today onwards, all outdoor events and stage shows will be held,” RIMS director Tulsi Mahto said at news meet on Friday.

According to Mahto, the events gave the medicos opportunities to unwind. “This platform helps to bring forth the talents in our students, which usually remain unnoticed,” he added.

A special cricket match between media persons and junior doctors will take place on January 22.
