Mumbai: India will begin their Asia Cup campaign against hosts Bangladesh, in Fatullah, on February 26.
Mirpur and Fatullah will host the tournament which will start from February 25. The inaugural match of tournament will be played between defending champions Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Fatullah while the final is scheduled on March 8 at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium at Mirpur.
Besides India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Afghanistan will make its debut in the 12-day tournament. This year’s event is being played in a round-robin format and will have 11 matches compared to seven held during the last two Asia Cups.
