t2 catches the 31st night action at clubs and hotels

If young couples and PYTs in jackets and boots (above) upped the hot quotient at Ranchi Club on New Year’s eve, a dancer scorched the stage at Gymkhana Club to make it a night to remember. The classic red and black ruled the colour palette of the stylistas. Pictures by Hardeep Singh

Prateek Soor and Company from Calcutta rocked the party at Bokaro Club. From the popular snake moves to Lungi Dance, they did it all and how. Pictures by Pankaj Singh

Hotel Citi Inn was the most happening place in Jamshedpur on 31st night. The party, which began at 8pm, saw the young brigade grooving to chartbusters from films like Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, R… Rajkumar and Boss. But, it was Yo Yo Honey Singh who brought the entire house on the floor, as Calcutta-based DJ Karv belted out the rapper’s hits. Beautiful fireworks (top) marked the midnight moment. East met the West at Dhanbad Club on the night of December 31. While a Calcutta artist, dressed in a neon orange anarkali, sizzled the stage with her classical moves, girls in thigh-high slit dresses wowed the audience with their smart steps.
