Assam all out for 270

Guwahati, Dec. 29: Assam were restricted to a modest first-innings total of 270 in 75.3 overs on the first day of their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy under-19 cricket tournament plate group B match against hosts Delhi at St Stephen’s College ground in New Delhi today.

The hosts were also reduced to eight for one wicket in five overs at close of the day’s play. The fifth wicket partnership of 90 runs between Rahman and Romario Sharma (84, 13x4) consolidated the Assam innings before Rahman was caught by Mohd Bilal off Siddhant Sharma.
