An eight-year-old boy died at the Calcutta airport on Sunday afternoon after he fell ill on board a Chennai-bound flight that returned minutes after take-off.
Spandan Barua of Bangladesh, who was suffering from congenital cardiac ailments, was on a SpiceJet flight with his father to Chennai for treatment, airport officials said. The duo had arrived from Dhaka on Saturday.
