Calcutta: Tolgay Ozebe has apologised for his misconduct, but the Mohammedan Sporting officials are not impressed.
At a meeting on Thursday, the club officials decided to buy more time on Tolgay’s future.
“Yes he has replied to the show-cause notice and apologised for showing dissent. But, we are not satisfied. But for the time being we are not taking any decision. But, if we do not get any satisfactory answer we will take a tough decision very soon,” a club official said.
Tolgay was issued a show-cause notice after he showed his displeasure for being substituted by the then coach Abdul Aziz Moshood during an I-League match against Dempo Sports Club.
Mohammedan Sporting play a CFL Premier Division Championship Round match against George Telegraph, at the Barasat Stadium, on Friday.
Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan’s Manish Bharghav suffered a bone injury in his right-foot during a practice session at the Barasat Stadium, on Thursday, and will have to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
