Jalaj & Naman hit centuries

Indore: Opener Jalaj Saxena and wicket-keeper batsman Naman Ojha cracked centuries as Madhya Pradesh piled up 342 runs for the loss of just two wickets against Saurashtra in a Group B match at the Holkar Stadium, here, on Saturday.

Jalaj is unbeaten on 157 runs. Naman Ojha scored 154 runs before being run out by Jaydev Unadkat.

In Ahmedabad, No. 3 batsman Sunny Singh anchored the Haryana innings with a fine unbeaten century as the visitors finished the day on 266 for two against Gujarat in a Group A match at the Motera. Sunny is batting on 139 (270 balls, 19x4, 2x6).

In Mumbai, Wasim Jaffer led from the front and cracked his 35th Ranji century to guide Mumbai to 242 for two against Odisha at the Wankhede on Saturday.
