Tennis tourney

Guwahati, Dec. 4: The first Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT) All-India Tennis Tournament will be held at the All Assam Tennis Association courts here from tomorrow to Saturday.

The tournament is being organised by the office of the chief commissioner of income tax, Northeast region, here and will be inaugurated by chief commissioner A.K. Sinha at 10am tomorrow in the presence of AATA life president Subhash Chandra Das.

An organising committee has been formed to host the tournament, with additional commissioner of income tax D. Loyi as chairperson.

All the technical help for the tournament will be provided by the All Assam Tennis Association.

The finals and the prize distribution ceremony will be held on Saturday.
