Black Caps in control

Dunedin: Brendon McCullum (109 batting) ended a barren run of scores and three-year century drought as Ross Taylor (103 batting) and he tore apart a weakened West Indies attack to reach 367 for three on the opening day of the first Test, at Dunedin, on Tuesday.

“He was back to the Brendon of old,” Taylor told reporters after the day’s play.
