Tribune in semi-finals

Guwahati, Nov. 25: The Assam Tribune sealed their place in the semi-finals of the Raishmodi Nunisa cricket sixes championship of the fifth North East Media Sports Festival, defeating Doordarshan Kendra, Guwahati by nine runs at Judges Field here today.

In the second quarter-final, The Assam Tribune put up 64 runs while Doordarshan Kendra could only manage 55.

Earlier, The Assam Tribune got the better of The Sentinel in their first match and then beat News Time Assam by 17 runs in the pre-quarterfinals.
