Beginning in 1917 as a clockwork factory, Schulp & Co, by Swiss brothers Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schulp in Switzerland, the company changed its name as Rado Uhren AG 40 years later in 1957. The first Rado rolled out the same year. Now, Rado is the luxury brand of The Swatch Group, the world’s largest watch conglomerate.
