This will be the final camp before Jharkhand’s opening Group A match against Delhi at the same stadium from October 27 to 30.

Two outstation recruits — Bhawik Thakker and Bhavin Thakker — are among those who will go through the paces under coach Subroto Banerjee. Both batsmen, Bhawik hails from Maharashtra, while Bhawin is from Gujarat.

The other players whose names have been released by the JSCA are Manish Vardhan, Rameez Nemat, Subroto Ghosh, Akash Verma, Vishal Singh, Ishank Jaggi, Keshav Kumar, Kumar Deobrat, Ajatshatru Singh, Babul Kumar, S.P. Gautam, Ajay Yadav, S.S. Rao, Rahul Shukla, Jaskaran Singh, Ashish Kumar, Prakash Seet, Shahbaz Nadeem, Asif Fahad, Sunny Gupta, Rahul Mishra and Samar Quadri.

Names of Saurabh Tiwary and Varun Aaron are missing from the list of probables. The former is recuperating in Delhi after a shoulder surgery, while Varun is learnt to have regained his fitness and is bowling at full throttle at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai.

“I want to be in the thick of things at the earliest , though it will take some time for me to join the team,” Tiwary said over phone.

The Ranji outfit against Delhi will be announced after the conclusion of the camp. A short training will be hosted before other Ranji matches in due course of time.

Jharkhand, which reached the quarter-finals in the last season, is hoping for a fruitful season ahead.
