Made a mark… In archery after taking part at School Games Federation of India in Calcutta last year. The 14-year-old has also been selected for the national tournament to be held in Chandigarh in October.
Took up…The sport last year after seeing Deepika Kumari at the Olympics.
Dronacharya…Of Shivam is Chandan Kumar, who had come to his school last year for the selection of a national-level tournament. Chandan also taught him archery.
Big support…Of Shivam are his parents Navin Kumar and Pushpa Kumari, both schoolteachers.
Other sports…He takes part in are football and cricket.
Good at…Academics too
Achievements...Of Shivam include winning six gold medals, two bronze, one silver and several certificates, though he started playing just one-and-a-half years ago.
