Calcutta: The condition of former India football captain Shabbir Ali, who suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Monday, improved on Tuesday.
Speaking about Shabbir’s health, his son Zafar said: “His condition is stable and the doctors said he is responding to the treatment. He would be kept under observation for 72 hours.”
A spokesperson of the Woodlands said: “As far as certain perimeters are concerned, there is some kind of a progress in his condition. A medical board of experts will also be constituted.
“Tomorrow morning at around 11, there will be another bulletin. For the time being, he has to remain on the ventilator.”
