Golaghat, Sept. 13: Oil India FC, Duliajan today set up a final clash with Shillong Lajong FC in the all-India invitation football tournament, organised by Golaghat District Sports Association at its ground here.
A brace of goals by striker Manash Manjit Chetia helped Oil India overcome Mohun Bagan Academy, Calcutta 4-2 in the second semi-final today.
Medio F. Wary opened the account for Oil India in the 10th minute but was equalised by Mohun Baganís Gorachand Marandi only a minute later.
Birjab Mushahary put Oil India ahead again with a 13th minute goal. The lead was again shortlived as Sagar Gurung scored in the 17th minute. It was Chetiaís strikes in the 32nd and 40th minutes that clinched the match for Oil India.
Shillong Lajong yesterday stormed into the final, blanking defending champions Dynamo Club, Guwahati 4-0 in the first semi-final.
Lalingmang Kiteng drew first blood with a powerful shot in the 33rd minute while Labamunna made it 2-0 for the Shillong side with a 79th minute goal.
T. Bipin Singh enhanced the lead to 3-0 in the 85th minute and W. Angosana Lwang pumped in another goal for Shillong Lajong in the 87th minute.
