Calcutta: Jagmohan Dalmiya, the interim president of BCCI, ticked off Board treasurer Ravi Savant, on Thursday.
Savant, the Mumbai Cricket Association president, had said on Wednesday, that Board president Narayanswamy Srinivasan might attend the working committee meeting to be held, here, on Sunday.
“I do not know who said what… The matter is sub judice… I do not want to comment on this issue.
“We should wait till September 1 to see whether Srinivasan would be attending the meeting. I would say people should avoid commenting on this issue,” Dalmiya said during an informal chat with the media.
Meanwhile, Mizoram chief minister Lalthanhawla called on Dalmiya on Thursday. “Mizoram is seeking BCCI affiliation and the meeting was regarding that only,” a source said.
