Bistro by the park celebrated two years with a spirited party & new eats!

Bistro by the Park, the bite-and-sip place on Middleton Row that introduced Calcutta to a menu on an iPad, celebrated its second anniversary on Thursday.

The evening saw a motley group of the city’s young and happening dance, drink and make merry at the birthday bash, hosted by t2 columnist and chef Shaun Kenworthy, who has done the Bistro menu. “I can’t believe two years have flown by already! This definitely called for a celebration!” said Shaun.

To keep the spirited crowd yummy company, Shaun added three special starters to the regular menu — Mutton Balls, Beer Battered Fish with Garlic Mayo and special Veg Pizza with roasted bell peppers and olives.

“This is a special occasion for us. With Bistro by the Park completing two years, we have introduced two anniversary specials to the menu. On weekends, one can now go for our Weekend-Breakfast (7am to 11am). We have also introduced a special Tiffin Lunch (11am to 3.30pm) meant for two persons,” said Arindam Banerjee, general manager, Bistro by the Park.
