Saif row at airport

Saif Ali Khan

Lucknow, March 21: An altercation broke out between Saif Ali Khan and officials at the airport here today when he was asked to leave the VIP lounge.

An official said the actor created a scene and yelled at the personnel of the CISF, which oversees security at airports, when they told him his presence in the lounge was “unauthorised”. “The actor lost his cool and got into an argument with us,” he said.

CISF commandant Gyanendra Kumar said: “Saif was reluctant to believe he was not entitled to the facility but cooled down later.”

Saif eventually left the lounge and waited with other passengers before boarding a Delhi flight. He has been shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullet Raja in Barabanki.

Another official said it was only “an exchange of arguments”. Saif wasn’t available for comment.
