Calcutta: India will be playing three international friendlies in Europe this June.
“We will be playing on June 5 and June 11 and one more friendly, the date of which hasn’t been finalised yet. We will play all the three matches in Europe,”AIFF secretary Kushal Das, said on Tuesday.
Das, however, said the opponents are yet to be finalised. “We are in the process (of finalising the opponents),” he said.
India, for the record, faltered in the Afc Challenge Cup qualifiers recently.
Meanwhile, the kick-off time for the I-League matches in Calcutta till end of this month will remain at 2 pm. “We have no other option. From April onwards, though, the kick-off will be at 3 pm,” I-League CEO Sunanda Dhar clarified.
