Siliguri, March 15: Around 100 students and research scholars of North Bengal University held a daylong protest at the varsity’s administrative building today, demanding a reduction in the price of B.Ed forms.
“The forms are priced at Rs 900 for general candidates and Rs 210 for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates. We want the rates of forms to be reduced to Rs 300 and Rs 150 for general and SC/ST candidates,” said Sailesh Chettri, an aspiring B.Ed candidate.
