Imphal, March 13: Reyoungster XI posted a four-wicket win against Imphal West Veteran Cricket Association in the first T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2012-13 at PCG Langthabal.
Imphal West won the toss and decided to bat first. Basanta Singh led the charge with 39 runs off 51 balls. Ashok Singh contributed 19 runs while Bungobi Singh hit 13 runs to post 116/8 from 20 overs.
In reply, Reyoungster XI crossed the target in 17.3 overs losing six wickets with Subash Singh hitting 28 runs off 25 balls while Majibur Rahaman got 26 runs from 19 balls. Sanou Singh was the most successful bowler for Reyoungster XI bagging three wickets.
Reyoungster XI player Nanda Singh was named Man of the Match.
