Imphal, March 13: BlackBerry XI moved into the final beating Apunba Fitness Centre by 4-1 goals during penalty shootout in the 1st Xenoh Corporate Football Challenge Cup 2013 at Tabungkhok in Imphal West today.
BlackBerry dominated the proceedings but failed to convert the chances during regulation time and the match had to be decided through penalty shootout. In the penalty shootout BlackBerry pushed home four kicks through Loya Singh, Kala Singh, Dhamen Singh and Tejkumar Singh.
For Apunba Fitness Centre only Manisana Singh could convert his shot for a goal.
In another semi-final match, Classic Hotel beat MGT Motors by 3-1 goals in the penalty shootout.
Paujangai, Neikupsang, Naoba Singh found the net for Classic Hotel while for MGT Motors, only Rk. Adarsh could convert his kick.
