IIM Calcutta secured more than 135 offers in Slot 0 over two days of final placements on March 3 and 5.
Premier finance and consulting firms opened Day 0 of placements. A total of 25 students from IIM Calcutta have secured final placements in Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Co., McKinsey, and A.T. Kearney. Consulting bigwigs such as Accenture Management Consulting, Opera Consulting, CGN and Hay Group also came with offers.
Finance proved to be the city-based IIM’s stronghold with several top-notch firms — JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Citibank, Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and Standard Chartered — coming for Slot 0 placements. There were over 15 international offers from Honda, Citibank, Al Ghanim and others.
