Held with hashish
A Bangkok-bound passenger was arrested at Calcutta airport on Friday for carrying 3kg of hashish valued at around Rs 1 crore. The hashish was found in his check-in luggage.
Victoria angel
The high court on Friday directed the Victoria Memorial authorities to file an affidavit on whether the angel atop the monument rotates.
Entry fee
The high court on Friday directed the botanical garden authorities not to charge senior citizens an entry fee. At present, the fee is Rs 50.
Award
