Amitayus is fancied

Imtiaz Sait-trained Amitayus is fancied to win the 1,400m F.K.Vakil Trophy, the main event at the Mumbai races, on Wednesday. The horse had finished behind Hidden Goodness and Appalachia, in his previous two outings. He certainly looks improved now. S. Zervan partners the four-year-old horse, by Glory Of Dancer out of Ippodamia.

The challenge to Amitayus may come from Brave Fighter, a M.K. Jadhav-trained horse, who is also looking improved.
