Sanjoy named Md. Sp. coach

Mohammedan Sporting, on Monday, appointed Sanjoy Sen as their coach for the remainder of season. Sen will take charge of the team from Wednesday. Sen said his aim will be to help Mohammedan Sporting qualify for the I-League. “I’m happy to be associated with Mohammedan Sporting… They are a club with history. There is a good mix of youngsters and experienced players. My aim will be to guide the team to the I-League,” said Sen.

Summit clash

East Bengal set up a summit clash with Mohun Bagan in the CAB Senior Knockout tournament on Monday.

In the semi-finals, East Bengal defeated YMCA (Coll. BR.) by nine wickets, while Bagan beat Town Club by 42 runs.
