First look: Ek ashare goppo

From Bomkesh Bakshi to an ambitious politician (Kanamachi) to a flamboyant cricketer (Aborto) to a potboiler-maker in Arindam Chakraborty’s March release Ek Ashare Goppo — Abir Chatterjee is on a ‘role’. As filmmaker Sakko Majumdar, his arm candies are Payel Sarkar (right), who plays a well-known actress, and Sampurna, a wannabe starlet. Well, this dude sure looks hot with the babes!

As his annoying, uneducated manager, Gobordhan Maity aka Rudranil Ghosh drives Sakko crazy in Ek Ashare Goppo. “Gobordhan Maity is any actor’s dream role. You won’t forget him in a hurry just as Sakko won’t forget him in the film,” laughs Rudranil, whose false teeth gave him a hard time during the shoot. “It was very painful. It affected my pronunciation and also hurt my mouth every time I spoke!”
