Md. Sp. coach
Mohammedan Sporting officials will hold an executive committee meeting, on Monday, to finalise their next coach after Aloke Mukherjee resigned in the wake of the team’s 1-6 loss to East Bengal in the CFL Premier Division Super Nine tie last Saturday.
Former Prayag United SC coach Sanjoy Sen appears to be the front-runner for the post, while Shabbir Ali, who had to step down as Southern Samity coach some days ago, is also in the fray.
Other names doing the rounds are that of Nigerian Fuja Tope and Mohammed Habib, both of whom have had the experience of coaching Mohammedan Sporting in the past.
