EB have the edge

Calcutta: So far in the competition, Kingfisher East Bengal have had almost everything correct, and this has propelled them to the top of the CFL standings.

Scoring as many as 15 goals from their last three appearances in the tournament, East Bengal are simply on a roll, winning all five matches in the Super Nine stage as of now.

However, a tricky contest awaits Morgan’s men when they take on Mohammedan Sporting, on Saturday, at the Salt Lake Stadium.

However, coach Trevor James Morgan can afford to be a little relieved now that striker Andrew Barisic has gained some sort of a rhythm, which was witnessed during East Bengal’s 7-1 demolition of Techno Aryan.
