Patna, Feb. 21: Three persons suffered burn injuries after a group of people forced them to drink acid at Mohanpur under the jurisdiction of Town police station in Sitamarhi on Thursday.
he victims, identified as Ram Sevak Rai, Ramesh Kumar and Shankar Kumar, have been admitted to Sadar hospital in Sitamarhi. Police said the incident was fallout of a land dispute. Four people have been named accused in the case based on the statements of the victims.
New Delhi (PTI): A young woman from Bihar was set afire in east Delhi allegedly by her live-in partner, police said on Thursday. The incident occurred in Laxmi Nagar on Wednesday night and the victim is battling for life in a city hospital.

Patna: The state human rights commission has directed Saharsa district magistrate (DM) Miswab Bari to appear before the panel on March 20 for his failure to submit a report on the action taken against the headmaster of a middle school charged with misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 27 lakh.
