Byloom — the apparel, accessories and lifestyle store at 58B Hindustan Park — is extending the Valentine’s Day celebrations with Colours of Love, an exhibition of a new range of their signature cotton sari collection, Abir.

The collection has the trademark Abir design in a hue of colours — red, yellow, pink, magenta, green, blue and brown — but in fresh combinations. Also on offer is the Dakshini collection which has motifs, found in south Indian saris, woven into the borders.

“The new collection is wonderful. What vibrant colours and they can be worn at all times and are affordable!” said Moon Moon Sen, who inaugurated the display on Valentine’s Day.

Keeping with the theme of love, Byloom is also exhibiting products made by the members of Anjali, a mental health rights organisation. These include painted kettles, lanterns and greeting cards, some of which were picked up by Moon Moon.

“This day should not be just about love between two people. It is about sharing the love and making it inclusive,” said Bappaditya Biswas, one of the partners at Byloom.

The Abir saris cost Rs 750; the Dakshini collection comes for Rs 1,050. The kettles are priced at Rs 570 and the lanterns at Rs 520.
