GAIL profit

New Delhi, Feb. 14: State-owned GAIL (India) Ltd today reported a 17 per cent rise in the December quarter net profit at Rs 1,285 crore on the back of higher revenues from gas trading. Net profit stood at Rs 1,284.86 crore in October-December against Rs 1,091.42 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said. Total income rose to Rs 12,658.37 crore from Rs 11,315.50 crore a year ago.

AllBank rate

Calcutta, Feb. 14:

ed Allahabad Bank has reduced its base rate and benchmark prime lending rate by 30 basis points to 10.2 per cent and 14.45 per cent, respectively. The revised rates will come into effect from February 18.

Infy listing

New Delhi, Feb. 14: Infosys, the country’s second largest software services firm, has received approval for listing of its American depositary shares on NYSE Euronext Paris. Infosys has also applied for admission on the NYSE Euronext London.
