Policemen move ahead

Imphal, Feb. 12: Manipur Police Club sailed ahead, winning its third match of the 4th All Manipur Football Association Women’s Football League for the B.M. Singh Trophy at Khurai Thongkhong football ground today.

Manipur Police defeated Youth Welfare Club by 5-0 goals.

Manipur Police have won have all the three matches fought so far and garnered nine points while Youth Welfare secured only three points.

N. Chanchan and O. Bembem played a major role in today’s win.

Chanchan beautifully created the opening for the first goal, scored by O. Bembem in the 16th minute.

Three minutes later, Ng. Bala converted the second goal after collecting a pass from Chanchan. In the same fashion, Bala scored the third goal in the 38th minute. The other two goals were scored by S. Ibeyaima and Bala.
