Budding cricketers of the state would be able to showcase their skills on the 22 yards at Champions Trophy 2013, a district tournament to be held by Association of Bihar Cricket from March 5 to April 7.
Teams from the 38 districts, divided into Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur zones, would play from March 5 to 16. The two semi-finals and the final would be played at Moinul Haque Stadium between April 5 and 7.
ABC president and Bhojpuri star Manoj Tiwari said: “The winners would receive Rs 2 lakh while the runners-up would get Rs 1 lakh. The idea is to have round-the-year cricket tournaments in Bihar.”
