Mohun Bagan secretary Anjan Mitra lodged a complaint with Bidhannagar South police station on Thursday, alleging that some people were trying to create disturbance ahead of Saturday’s I-League match between his club and East Bengal by posting comments on Facebook.
Police said the person who had posted the comments was not in the city on Thursday.
The last I-League encounter between the two clubs, held on December 9, was abandoned after Mohun Bagan refused to play in the second half, as one of their footballers was hit by a stone thrown from the gallery.
