What Kumar Shashank is known for. He has played a national and a number of state, district level and other tournaments in two years.

Started practising…

Four years back, when he was in Class VIII. Shashank was inspired to take up the sport seriously by watching others play in his school. Before that he used to render tips on how to play the sport well.

Won gold medals…

In all the inter-school and district-level tournaments he has played till date. He also played at the national level in the under-16 category in Indore. Basketball Federation of India had organised the event in 2012.

Inspiration…

For Shashank is his elder brother Kumar Mayank, who was the captain of his school basketball team.

Strongest support…

Are his parents Arbind Kumar and Kanchan Sinha.

Aims to…

Become a lawyer and wants to bring laurels to the country.
