A complaint case was filed on Thursday in the court of the Sitamarhi chief judicial magistrate (CJM) against Union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s “derogatory remarks” on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The complaint, filed by a Sitamarhi-based lawyer, said Shinde’s statement would “promote factionalism and pose a threat to the country’s integrity”. CJM Rashmi Rek-ha fixed March 8 as the date of hearing and transferred the case to the court headed by the sub-divisional judicial magistrate. Shinde had accused the RSS of running Hindu terror camps.
